Google Pixel 2 price just dropped. As Google introduced its newest addition to the Pixel family – the freshly released Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL – the Pixel 2 deals started to come.
It’s been a tradition when a new Pixel phone comes out, Google drops the price of last year model on the Google store. You can get the Pixel 2 XL for $699, a $150 discount from the original price. Surprisingly Google hasn’t discounted the Pixel 2, which is now just $50 cheaper than its big brother.
Best Buy always got great tech deals when new products come out. The giant retailer is slashing $300 off the Pixel 3 XL original price. That’s even a better deal than Google’s.
But not so fast. There’s a catch.
There are a few things that you need to take into consideration before jumping to grab one.
You’ll have to buy the device on a 24-month Verizon payment plan. You’ll pay $22.91 instead of paying $35.41 for a period of 24 months. This deal is only for the base model, the 64GB version. After you pay it off, the phone will cost you $549.
This is a great deal for Verizon customers and those who don’t want the latest tech. After all the Pixel 2 XL is still a flagship smartphone with the best camera. Read our smartphone buying guide before making any decision.
If you want more storage, you can go for the 128GB and will pay $27.07 a month over a 24 months installment payment. In a similar move like Google, Best Buy doesn’t discount the Pixel 2.
