Apple’s fall event is next week, and you already know what’s coming: the iPhone 17. Apple makes almost half its revenue from the iPhone, so it’ll get the spotlight.

But Apple is also a company with a very large product line, and most of it is overdue for updates.

So while Tim Cook and company will spend most of their time convincing you the iPhone’s new camera is basically a time machine, there’s a pile of other hardware on deck.

Some of it might show up next week, some of it might dribble out later, but it’s worth keeping track of what’s coming.

Apple Watch Ultra 3

The Ultra is Apple’s oversized flex watch, and this year it’s rumored to get even bigger. A new S11 chip, faster charging, brighter OLED, and maybe satellite texting when you’re off the grid. Garmin owners are already rolling their eyes.

Apple Watch Series 11

Last year’s Series 10 was a redesign. This year looks like a maintenance update: new S11 chip, incremental tweaks, and maybe a sleep score feature buried in iOS code. Apple Watch hardware is still excellent, but the software hasn’t had a big idea in years.

Apple Watch SE 3

The entry-level watch hasn’t been touched since 2022. You can expect larger displays and the S11 chip. Early reports of colorful plastic cases seem to be dead, which feels like a missed opportunity to make the SE actually fun.

iPad Pro

A bigger change is happening here. The iPad Pro is moving to Apple’s M5 chip and will reportedly add dual front cameras for portrait and landscape calls.

That’s a smart hardware tweak, but the real issue is still iPadOS, which continues to feel like iOS on a bigger screen.

AirPods Pro 3

A redesign, stronger noise cancellation, and heart rate monitoring. Apple clearly wants AirPods Pro to blur the line between headphones and health device, which makes sense given how often people wear them.

Apple TV 4K

The little black box might finally get some love with an A17 Pro chip and new wireless radios. A FaceTime camera has been rumored forever, but it’s still anyone’s guess if Apple will actually ship it.

Vision Pro

The $3,499 headset, which was supposed to redefine computing, is already getting an update.

It will feature either an M4 or M5 chip, plus a redesigned strap to make it less of a forehead anchor. That’s progress, but not exactly a new category-defining moment.

HomePod mini 2

A second-gen HomePod mini is reportedly on the way with a faster chip and upgraded wireless hardware. Siri remains Siri, though, which makes it tough to see this as much more than a light refresh.

AirTag 2

The AirTag 2 may offer up to three times the range of the current model, more tamper-proof speakers, and improved battery level alerts. That’s less innovation and more Apple fixing the obvious flaws of the first version.

Studio Display 2

Don’t expect this one next week, but a refresh with mini-LED is reportedly planned for late 2025 or early 2026.

Basically, Apple is building the display you probably wished you had gotten the first time.
