This is a step-by-step guide on how to find saved app passwords on iPhone.

You use a lot of apps, and most of them require an account in order to use them. To make your accounts safer, you should never use the same passwords for multiple websites.

But this creates a problem, you’ll end up with a ton of passwords that you could possibly remember. That’s why password managers like LastPass exist. But did you know starting with iOS 11 your iPhone can save your passwords for you? Here’s how you check up the password that iOS has saved.

How to find passwords on iPhone

Step 1. Head to your iPhone Settings app, then open the “Passwords & Accounts” section.

Step 4. You’ll have different options, you can either delete a saved password if you no longer need it. Just swipe to the left and tap “Delete”.

You can also tap on the “Edit” button at the top right corner of the screen, then select the password you want to delete and tap “Delete” at the top left corner of the screen.

  1. I don’t have a “passwords & accounts” in settings, I have a “passwords” section and it looks entirely different than what you show here.

    • Hey Michael, on newer iOS version, the “Password & Accounts” option has been renamed to “Passwords”, but the steps remain the same. Let me know if you need further help.
