Apple is upgrading Disney World support in Apple Wallet this September, turning park passes into something far more functional inside iOS 27.
Instead of acting mainly as an entry ticket, the Wallet pass will now surface key trip details in one place, including park reservations, Lightning Lane selections, dining bookings, and event tickets. The information updates automatically as plans change throughout the day.
At Disney World, that means a single pass can reflect where you need to be and when, without opening the My Disney Experience app.
Reservations and ride selections still happen in the Disney app, but Wallet becomes the place you check once everything is booked.
For group trips, the change is more noticeable. Today, it’s common for one person in a family to manage plans inside the Disney app while everyone else checks in for updates.
With iOS 27, each person can view the same trip details directly from their own Wallet pass.
The update builds on existing MagicMobile support in Apple Wallet, which is currently used for park entry and Lightning Lane access. iOS 27 expands that system to include live trip context rather than just entry credentials.
Disney World is one of the first major resorts to support the expanded Wallet experience. Resorts World Las Vegas has also announced plans to adopt the updated passes across its Hilton properties.
Apple has not published a full list of supported destinations, but the timing lines up with the September release of iOS 27 and the start of the holiday travel season, when theme park visits typically increase.
Existing Disney tickets linked through My Disney Experience should automatically appear in the updated Wallet view once the software is installed. No additional setup is required beyond using a compatible iPhone.
