Amazon has cut prices on several M5 MacBook Pro models for Prime Day 2026, with the steepest discount bringing the 14-inch M5 Max configuration down to $3,299.99, a $299 reduction from its regular retail price and the lowest it has ever sold for on the platform.
The discounts span both screen sizes. On the 16-inch side, the entry-level M5 Pro model with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage has dropped to $2,494.00, down $205 from its standard $2,699.00 price, and is also an all-time low at Amazon.
A 48GB RAM version of the 16-inch M5 Pro is available for $2,857.00, off $242, and the 16-inch M5 Max with 36GB RAM and a 2TB drive is listed at $3,649.00, a $250 reduction.
Which Models Are Discounted
Among the 14-inch options, the 24GB/1TB M5 Pro is priced at $2,034.00, down from $2,199.00. A mid-tier 24GB/2TB configuration sits at $2,399.00, reflecting a $200 discount.
Most Prime Day deals require an active Amazon Prime membership to access the listed prices. A standard membership runs $14.99 per month or $139.00 annually.
First-time subscribers get a 30-day free trial, which would cover the cost of entry for anyone who only wants the sale access.
Amazon is also running a discounted membership rate for buyers between the ages of 18 and 24. That plan costs $69.00 per year, half the price of a standard annual subscription, and includes the same Prime benefits.
The timing of these discounts has added context beyond the typical sale cycle. Apple is expected to raise prices on Macs and iPads in the coming months, with supply chain costs pushing retail prices higher across the lineup.
Buyers who have been waiting on a MacBook Pro purchase may find the window between current sale pricing and an anticipated price increase to be relatively short.
