The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is down to $699.99, a $99 discount, as some original Apple Watch Ultra owners learn their watches may not be eligible for Apple’s next major watchOS update.
Amazon is currently offering the Black Titanium Apple Watch Ultra 3 with the Black Ocean Band for $699.99. Most Ultra 3 discounts this year have been closer to $50 off, making this one of the better deals we’ve seen so far.
The retailer is also cutting prices across the Apple Watch Series 11 lineup. The 42mm GPS aluminum model has dropped from $399 to $299, while the larger 46mm version is available for $329 (down from $429). Multiple configurations are matching their lowest prices to date.
The sale arrives as discussion grows around the future of the original Apple Watch Ultra. Many early buyers paid a premium for Apple’s first Ultra model and expected it to stay on the latest software track for years.
Reports that the first-generation Ultra may miss the next major watchOS release have fueled debate among long-time owners.
Against that backdrop, Apple’s newest Ultra is now available at its lowest price of the year.
The Series 11 deals are also worth a look. A current-generation Apple Watch for $299 is unusual this early in the product cycle, especially on one of Apple’s newest models.
If you’ve been waiting for a price drop before upgrading, this is one of the stronger Apple Watch sales we’ve seen this year.
