Amazon just knocked $150 off every M5 MacBook Air configuration, and the timing is hard to ignore.
The base 13-inch model, which launched just weeks ago, is now priced at $949, a record-low price for a brand-new MacBook Air. Not a near-record. The actual record.
The 15-inch starts at $1,149 (down from $1,299), and the 1TB storage options are included across both screen sizes, so you’re not forced to choose between portability and capacity.
Want the 13-inch with 24GB of RAM and 1TB storage? That one drops to $1,349, down from $1,499.
Amazon is also discounting the 15-inch models more aggressively. Prices start at $1,149.99 for the 512GB version, while the 24GB/1TB configuration dips to $1,549 — $150 off.
The base M5 Air ships with 16GB of unified memory, which handles everyday productivity, photo editing, video streaming, and even moderate video exports without breaking a sweat.
Owners of the previous-generation base model report few real-world bottlenecks, and the jump to 24GB costs significantly more while returning almost nothing at resale.
Every color variant is included in the sale, with delivery expected around May 7–8 on most configurations. If you’ve been sitting on this decision, the math on waiting for a better deal is getting harder to justify.
