Apple’s watchOS 27 introduces three built-in apps that change how you use Siri, locate missing devices, and monitor your daily health.
Two are available across compatible Apple Watch models, while the third is reserved for Apple’s newest watches.
The additions include a dedicated Siri app with conversation history, a unified Find My app, and a new Readiness app designed to help you decide how hard to push yourself each day.
Siri Gets Its Own App
Siri now has a dedicated app on Apple Watch, giving you another way to interact with Apple’s redesigned assistant beyond pressing the Digital Crown.
The biggest addition is conversation history. You can revisit previous Siri interactions, including conversations started on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Vision Pro. That makes it easier to pick up an earlier conversation without starting over.
The Siri app also appears in the Dynamic App Grid, although Apple currently doesn’t allow users to remove it.
Find My Gets Simpler
Apple has combined Find Devices, Find Items, and Find People into a single Find My app, eliminating the need to switch between three separate apps.
The redesigned interface opens with a map and includes a menu for switching between people, devices, and items. You can locate a missing iPhone, check someone’s shared location, or find an AirTag from the same place.
The familiar tracking features remain available, with the biggest improvement coming from simpler navigation on the watch’s small screen.
Readiness Is for Newer Watches
The new Readiness app is exclusive to Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4, using activity, heart rate, and sleep data to assess how prepared your body is for the day ahead.
Each morning, you’ll receive a score grouped into four categories: Recover, Pace Yourself, Ready, or Go For It.
The app also explains which factors influenced your score, helping you understand whether to prioritize recovery or tackle a more demanding workout.
Readiness supports watch face complications and Smart Stack widgets, while the Fitness app on iPhone provides additional details.
watchOS 27 is available as a free update for compatible Apple Watch models. However, you’ll need a Series 12 or Ultra 4 to access Readiness.
