Siri on Apple Watch can now remember conversations from days or even weeks earlier, making it easier to pick up where you left off without repeating yourself.
The update arrives with watchOS 27.2, and includes faster Siri AI responses, access to more information stored on your iPhone, and support for five additional languages.
Siri can now remember previous conversations
One of the biggest additions is conversation memory, which lets Siri reference information from earlier interactions.
For example, you can ask Siri about a restaurant it recommended last week without repeating the original question or explaining the context again.
The feature makes follow-up questions more natural, particularly when you’re using your Apple Watch and don’t want to pull out your iPhone.
Apple also says Siri AI now delivers faster responses on Apple Watch, addressing a longstanding frustration with voice requests that take too long to complete.
Siri gains access to more information on your iPhone
watchOS 27.2 expands the information Siri can retrieve from a paired iPhone.
The assistant can now reference:
- Photos shared in Messages conversations.
- Attendees listed in Calendar events.
- Information contained in voicemails.
- Safari browsing history.
- Articles saved to Safari’s Reading List.
These additions should make Siri more useful for questions involving information you’ve already received or saved.
Apple has also introduced an Excluded Apps setting on iPhone, giving users a central place to control which apps Siri, Search, and suggestions can access.
Five additional languages are now supported
Siri AI launched with watchOS 27.0 supporting only US English.
With watchOS 27.2, that support expands to:
- French
- Japanese
- Korean
- Portuguese
- Spanish
The expansion brings Apple Watch in line with the language support introduced in iOS 27.2, making Siri AI accessible to more users outside English-speaking markets.
Apple Music adopts a black-and-white design
Apple Music also receives a visual refresh as part of the service’s recent rebrand.
The familiar red app icon has been replaced with a black-and-white version, accompanied by additional monochrome styling changes throughout the watch app.
The changes are cosmetic, with no major new music playback features announced for this update.
How to install watchOS 27.2
To update your Apple Watch, open the Watch app on your iPhone, then go to General > Software Update.
Your iPhone must be running iOS 27.2 before you can install the watchOS update.
Apple also released visionOS 27.2 alongside watchOS 27.2, bringing the same five Siri AI languages and updated Apple Music icon to Apple Vision Pro.
